You can go live on YouTube if you have 1,000 subscribers. YouTube initially launched mobile live-streaming to users who had more than 10,000 subscribers and now, the company is lowering its subscriber requirement to 1,000.
It’s important to note also that this doesn’t meant just anyone can start live-streaming from a mobile device — you’ll still need to have a verified channel and no live stream restrictions in the last 90 days to qualify. You can skip the line however, and broadcast Live to Facebook and YouTube with a simple switch. Not required to have the 1,000 subscribers either. Just log into the “Live for YouTube” iPhone/iPad app and go live with the latest apps from Cameleon.
